It's not that I think stupidity should be punishable by death. I just think we should take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem take care of itself.
The public eye has always been kind to me, and until recently I have been able to live a pretty normal life. Now it seems there is speculation and interest in my private life and relationships.
So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.
Once again, I think this is just great. The more actors that feel comfortable coming out of the closet - especially while they're employed in a successful project - the better. So since I already watch Grey's Anatomy I may just start watching How I Met Your Mother.
Anyway, you may remember Neil as the eponymous star of Doogie Howser, M.D.. His career continued with several guest appearances on various TV shows, and after a few years he landed a role in Starship Troopers. Now, of course, he's playing the womanizing Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother.
Oh, and... Does he look hot lately or what? Many thanks to the guys over at Dreamcaps for posting such a nice collection of hot pics!
Oh, he's been out for years. He attends awards shows with his boyfriend. I think he just issued this statement because his publicist said something to the effect of "he is not of that persuasion" after reports surfaced about Neil getting his boyfriend a TV job. In any case, kudos for being so out and open and proud. A great role model, that Neil.
Good slap, I like him. Agreed, we all knew he was gay and good for him. I've admired his bod for a long time. DD

Great Slap! I, for one, did not know he is gay but have been an admirer of his since he grew up out of his twinkish Doogie look. He is one hot looking man now!

I wasn't aware he was till I just read the article here(but did play a Gay Man in ("The Next Best Thing")with Rupert Everett and had also been a Admirer of him since his Doogie Howser MD days("Starship Troopers")glad he grew out of his twinkish youth and turned into the Hot and very sexy Man he is that we know today.
I am also so glad that you included Neil's picture from Cabaret. He has been appearing on Broadway off and on for the last few years, too. He was wonderful in Assassins, too.

OK, maybe it's just me (and it usually is), I just don't see how "Doogie" is the least bit attractive. The oversized head just freaks me out (No comments from the peanut gallery). Now as far as cast members on "How I Met Your Mother" are concerned, if you want a good Slap, slap the hell out of the character "Marshall" played by Jason Segel. He's tall and has those goofishly good looks that makes me melt - and I'm normally in to darker haired men. By far, the best episode is the one where he "exposed" his calf to his ex-, "Lily" (I guess on last night's episode they got back together - I missed most of it), because it was a turn on for her. She's got the right idea. He was sportin' a nice amount of muscle and leg fur - which totally turns me on. I pretty much watch the show in the hopes they'll show more of him sans clothes. Josh Radnor (playing "Ted") isn't that bad either. Good Lord, I need a cold shower.
