Today's Slap goes out to one of my historical favorites. As obsessed as I was with MichaelBergin in about 1994, it's absolutely shocking that I haven't Slapped him before today. I remember a friend worked for one of the big department stores, as an assistant buyer for, among other things, mens' underwear. And he was kind enough to round up one of Michael's posters for me to hang in my bedroom.
Michael was, I suppose, most famously on TV in Baywatch Hawaii. Do I really need to say more? He fell off my list of the very hottest guys a while back, but I have to confess he's still amazing looking.
Yes I admit I had a thing for this dude too. In fact I watched this program just to see him (and another guy or two). Speaking of which, what ever happened to the kid who played David Hasselhoff's son? He was getting interesting as he gained a few years.

I know you have "slapped" Peter Krause, one of the brothers in the great "6 Feet Under", but I don't think you have slapped the other brother, Michael C. Hall. He didn't do much for me as the character David, but I have been watching the first few episodes of "Dexter" and he is quite amazing. (Make a man a serial killer....!) He has had his shirt off several times and is very impressive. Perhaps, there are no shirtless photos of him available, but I think he would be a very worthy slap.
I have to confess that Michael C. Hall here never occured to me, because of the reason cited by Thom above - he was just so annoying on Six Feet Under.
But I was able to round up a couple of (disappointingly small) screen caps of him shirtless in Dexter, and he is looking pretty good. Interestingly, he's done almost no other work on screen. Hmmm...
I had a run-in with the TSA in Atlanta today that still has me irritated.
I purposely carry a wallet with an ID window, because I've been traveling a lot and it's just easier to flash the ID behind the window, rather than pull it out with 100 other things every time someone wants to see my ID.
Well, the TSA bitch in Atlanta today asked that I take my license out of my wallet. I confess that this has happened before - but ONLY in Atlanta. No other security official - at any airport, anywhere in the world - has ever asked that I take my ID out of my wallet. Only in Atlanta. But, as I said, it's happened before in Atlanta - it's inconsistent, though, so while I wasn't surprised, I was irritated.
So now a bit of description. I like to carry a Kroger frequent shopper card too, but rather than have to pull it out every time, I cut off just the bar code and put it inside the ID window. And to keep it sliding around in the window, I put a little piece of Silly Putty there to hold it in place. Go ahead and say it: yes I'm a geek.
So back to the story. She points at the bar code that's adhered to the ID and says "what is this?"
"Oh, that's my Kroger frequent shopper card."
"Sir, I'll need to see a photo ID that hasn't been tampered with."
Huh?? Tampered with? Because a little bar code accidentally stuck to it? I reached over and peeled the bar code off. That seemed to make her happy and she scribbled her little approval code on my boarding pass and handed it back to me, saying "Have a nice flight." I snatched it out of her hand just hard enough that I wouldn't be suspected of being a terrorist and marched off. I heard her say as I walked away "How rude".
While I know it's not, strictly speaking, her fault, I wanted to say to her (and, really, to any TSA agent in general):
If you don't like being treated rudely by people that are sick of silly and petty bureaucratic decisions which are in no way your fault --- get a different job.
I didn't, however, say that, because I figured a snotty response like that must be absolutely typical of what a terrorist would say and I'd surely be arrested.
OMG. the reason the "bitch" was rude, of course, is your complete overreaction to a perfectly reasonable request: 1.5 seconds out of your day. you spent 10 times that amount complaining in your post. don't stick things to your legal identification, or allow things to stick themselves there, and you'll not be asked for a closer inspection. and SHE's the bitch, really? stuff like this makes gay men look bad.

Being from the Atlanta area myself, I will start by saying I regret that you felt you were treated poorly. Most of the people here are warm, friendly, and courteous in the extreme. But,petty issues abound in seemingly every aspect of our lives. However, I am dissappointed in you. Being rude to someone just doing their job is never the right action. If you had treated this "TSA bitch" better than she treated you, it could have made all the difference. Responding to rudeness with rudeness is wrong. By taking the high road, you could have made this situation much more pleasant, and made everyone behind you have better service.( And probably after work, that woman told all her buddies about the hateful prick from Denver that ruined her day)......

Rob - you're lucky she didn't try to say the silly putty in your wallet was plastic explosive. I always use my passport as ID, even on domestic flights. There's never an argument then. It is annoying when flying to the US when I discover than EVERY airport has different rules. After recent events, I would think the govt would get their act together, but nope!

Having made a neutral post on this, I've got to add a negative.
The first time I took my lap top along through Detroit, Metro, the sign said "Take Lap Tops Out Of Case". I took mine out, put the case in the tray and set the lap top on top of it. The bitch had a bloody fit. "How am I supposed to xray what is under it if you put it on top?" I tried to explain that the sign only said to take it out of the case, not anything about what to do with it once it was out. I offered that I COULD have put it on my head and balanced it or held it between my knees and hopped but as least I picked the most logical thing and put it in the tray with the rest of my stuff. She didn't appreciate my thoughts. Having already been stripped searched there once (absolutely naked but no cavity (damn)) I decided to drop it.

Today's Slap goes out at the request of Xavier to James Blunt:
James Blunt has a new album coming out tomorrow, so it'd be a very good time to slap him. There's something very *#&$able about him (for lack of a better word). I think it's the whole singing sensitive songs thing. Even if I don't care too much for some of those songs, he's definitely shag-worthy, especially in the "You're Beautiful" video. Just don't post those pasty pics of him on the beach in Spain with Petra Nemcova. He looked oddly short there.
Alas, I didn't get my act together in time, so I wasn't able to Slap him on the day of his album release, but he's definitely a cutie, and his album was out just a few days ago - so it's not too bad. Anyway, All the Lost Souls is his new release, and from listening to a couple of tracks on his web site, it sounds pretty good.
And although I violated Xavier's specific instructions about the pictures of James on the beach in Spain, I don't think they're bad - he's pretty cute. Maybe he looks a bit short, but those were really the only decent skin shots I could find.
um...am I missing something? is there something slapworthy about this guy?

In honor of his debut on last night's Dancing with the Stars, I thought it was appropriate to Slap model AlbertReed. I haven't watched the episode yet, but it looks like Albert has the inside track on getting my votes - he's by far the hottest.
I guess he does have some hotness competition from dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but Albert's clearly the hottest star. I didn't watch the show last year, but Albert's clearly used to the idea of taking his shirt off, and Maksim doesn't seem to mind too much, so I think this season may be a good one.
I dunno. There is something about his face that seems slightly deformed to me.

Today's Slap goes out to one of the hottest guys anywhere, Paul Walker. I've Slapped him before, but it's been nearly 3 years, and it's absolutely a crying shame for a guy this hot not to have made Slap of the Month. Competition so far this month is pretty fierce, but I think Paul here has a good shot at the title for September.
I was inspired to check out Paul again because I recently watched Into the Blue with Paul and another Slap, Scott Caan. And as dreadful as the movie was, he made up for it and then some. Especially since it was set in the Bahamas, and who needs to wear their shirt in the Bahamas? Perfect. I really hope that it's a harbinger of things to come. Paul was also in Joy Ride - whence came the lovely shots of his nearly flawless ass.
And according to IMDb, Paul is "best known" for his role in The Fast and the Furious. That movie isn't really worth watching, in my opinion, because it's every bit as bad as Into the Blue, but he only has his shirt off for about 10 seconds of screen time. Seriously, what's the point??
He is preety and has a nice ass, eyes and body but he's overrated, generic looking, and he's kind of homophobic. Said something a while back that he wouldn't ever play gay or kiss another guy and it just hit me the wrong way. Plus I don't like how he's overly pushed on the public as a big star when the guy's acting is just short of Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Paul is perfect. Physically, he has no flaws. The treasure trail and the patch of fur in that shot with the causes "groinal stirring" every time I see shots of him.
But I put him and Ben Affleck in the same category as hopelessly untalented when it comes to acting. In fact, Into the Blue was painful because I wanted to grab Paul and tell him to find something else other than acting to do with his life (nude dancer, perhaps?). He's painfully flat on screen, just like Affleck.

As for him being a bit homophobic, I have heard that about him too. Too bad. It may have something to do with his Mormon (Latter-Day Saint) background. I saw Shia LaBeouf on JustJared the other day, and made a point of saving some of the images of him for later use. Well, now's later. I've gotten a few requests for Shia lately (Patrick, Thom) and some older requests for him too (Patrick - same Patrick, I think - and Brodie). Thom had this to say:

But it looks like his "big break" (I guess...) is gonna be in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull where it looks like he'll have a fairly big role. As, I presume, a young Indiana Jones.
Here's hoping we see more of this hot young actor!

He was also in the movie Disturbia last year. He is a cutie, but one thing that makes him more attractive is his attitude towards being a star. I have seen him on numerous talk shows and he seems to have his head in the right place, unlike a lot of young Hollywood. Cant wait to see him in Indiana Jones.

I don't remember the name of his character in I, Robot. But he played the young friend of Will Smith's character whom asks for his car in the beginning of the movie, and is seen again near the end fighting the bad robots. So I know I've responded to several people recently, who were asking how to send pictures. And I'm sure other people hit "reply" and wondered where the hell I went. Regardless, it works now. Or better yet, just hit the "e-mail me" link again.

Methinks someone has some sort of infatuation with actor Danny Nucci. That someone wanted to remain anonymous. I've always thought Danny was kinda cute, and when I got the e-mail, I figured he surely deserved a good Slap. But I didnt' realize he was quite so hot. If only he'd shown his bits in those pictures in the shower. So close ... and yet so far.

The only (small) beef I have is that they included South Africa in the panel of mocking countries. South Africa actually has a constitution that forbids discrimination based on sexual orientation and has legalized gay marriage.
Robert wrote recently to ask if I'd Slapped American actor WesBentley. The answer is "yes". Now.
Anyway, you probably remember Wes from American Beauty. He was the gay (wasn't he?) teen from next door. I remember thinking he was kinda scrawny, but a little bit cute. I think, in the intervening 8 years, he's gotten quite a bit cuter.
He doesn't seem to have been in anything else I've ever even heard of, but he has a couple of upcoming movies, specifically P2 and The Last Word.
I remember him as being a pretty good actor - here's hoping we see more of him.

Reading the first comment almost turned my stomach. ESPECIALLY since Queer Eye introduced "Manscaping". Most comments here border PG13 territory for the most and even PG or G many times. I don't see why it has to reach into NC17 just because it can. Today's Slap is the last in the "Tennis Slaps" series, and goes out to a very deserving Roger Federer. I have to admit, Roger is really looking good these days. There's a picture after the jump from a few years ago, where he looks kinda soft. By no means fat, but just not in great shape. Well, the more recent pictures show a totally different guy. He's fantastic!!
Roger has now won 12 grand slam titles, putting him in a tie for second place with Roy Emerson. Pete Sampras is in first place, with 14. Here's hoping that Roger wins a "full" slam next year and pulls ahead of Pete...

Kudos for the Federer Slap!!! I may be one of the few, but I think he is just too hot for words. (Something about genius is so alluring.) I agree that some of these photos don't show how good-looking he is, but they do show off his lithe athletic frame very well. Indeed. Gerard has become quite the beefy stud, as you can see after the jump. There are a couple of very hot shots from Men's Health, and I did find an ass shot or two, and - believe it or not - a couple of side view shots of his naughty bits.
As Robert noted, Gerard Butler was indeed in 300, where he played King Leonidas. Apparently kings way back when were hot (speaking of people who need re-Slaps). Gerard was also in The Phantom of the Opera, but that creepy mask made him play second fiddle to Patrick Wilson. What crack are you guys smoking? 300 was a great movie! Aside from all the man-flesh, is was a well done movie I thought. The special effects were Visually stunning and the story was engaging! Then again, I was a comic book nerd growing up and loved Frank Miller's stories like "300" and "Sin City" though. So maybe that's why I liked it too.

I just saw 300 last night and did enjoy it. Granted it was a bit short on story and went way overboard on the visuals, but I still thought it was a decent flick.

For me, 300 was a pathetic little movie with cringe inducing lines, lack of plot and transparent political agenda, that I couldn't excuse with comic-book references (although the violence was indeed appreciably comic book). That's probably because I'm comparing it to Anime, and I wasn't really expecting more than what I got (though I was hoping...). The only saving grace was the eye candy. I loved every moment of Gerard Butler's bulging buffness, as well as all the others' sweaty, rippling goodliness. Something to watch lying on a leather couch, rubbing oil on my hunky hubby. Similarly LC:CoL.

I don't care if "300" sucked (which it did). I care that the movie was homophobic, racist and promoted eugenics as a good thing, and tried its best to make all that seem really, REALLY cool -- which so violates my sense of morality, I can't even CONSIDER going to see anything that involves Gerard Butler or anyone else who was part of that filth. And I even told Warner Bros. that. Needless to say, they ignored me; after all -- the damned thing made tons of cash.
So if all you care about is half-naked men with CG'd bodies, then fine for you. I'm just not that shallow.
As for Gerard...slap him all you want. Please. And I do mean that literally.

OK, I know I'm gonna take some heat for this guy, but I'm putting him up anyway. And in looking through my request archive, I see that I have at least one person on my side, and that's William.
Anyway, today's Slap goes out to actor Vince Corazza. I don't remember how long ago William asked to see him, but I'm sure it's been a while. But it was nearly impossible to find pics of this guy. But I watched Leaving Metropolis the other night and was able to make some screen caps. And honestly, I don't think the screen caps do him justice. He's much better looking when the picture is in motion. He looks kinda funny in the stills. Oh well...
From IMDb it looks like Vince has done tons of things, but for some reason there are very few pictures out there of him. At least that I could find. Admittedly, I didn't have enough time to go looking all over the place for this one, but generally I can tell if I'm gonna have luck in my extensive searches and I didn't get that feeling with him.
So anyway, for those of you who've been craving fur (I know you're out there...), here you go!
By the way, I watched Laving Metropolis on the new (new to me, at least...) Netflix "Watch It Now" service. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. It's really easy and works great!
I featured him as a random hottie the other day - not knowing who he was. And some kind soul filled me in as to his identity. And then, looking through my requests archive, I noticed that Lars sent a note a while back saying:

Yes, indeed he is. Well, I have to ask: Furry? I guess, like so many guys these days, he might just be intimately familiar with a razor.
So today's victim is BrettHollands. As you can tell, he's model-rific, having worked for tons of companies, including Abercrombie. And there seem to be lots of sites that feature various shots of him, thankfully many of which are shirtless...
He looks a bit like Paul Walker and Patrick Wilson. I like him in some pics but not in others...

Well, the votes are in, and I was surprised to find that the vote was so close! I can't remember a month where the top 3 guys were stacked up so close. I think in this case the "lovers of smooth" had divided loyalties and the "lovers of fur" were able to swoop in and push Eion Bailey over the top.
The smoothies did have their say, however, by pushing Nick Zano to runner-up:
Are the standards for judging superiority published somewhere? I must see it so I don’t make such mistakes in the future. Could it be a genetic flaw on my part? The votes speak for themselves (and boy do I agree). And, while there were certainly other good-looking guys on the list, there is something to be said for a guy who is attractive and talented (i.e. Eion Bailey), instead of just a vapid mannequin that gets paid way too much so he can afford to do crunches for 8.5 hours/day to keep up that washboard stomach.

John sent a link to this little nugget the other day. In case you weren't aware, Denver International Airport is set to be the home of a new world order. When alien reptiles take over the world. Or something:

Going back to the tennis theme we had going on, I offer today's victim - Tommy Robredo. Tommy didn't go very far in this year's US Open - he was the 8th seed, but only made it to the 3rd round, losing in three very lopsided sets to Ernests Gulbis (who, by the way, will probably be getting his own Slap soon - if I can find pictures). But Tommy is only 25, so he has a few years yet to make it to the late rounds of more tournaments.
Most important about Tommy is the fact that he's one of the players out there that routinely practices with his shirt off.
Ok that nekid photo was kinda hot but this guy has an anus face. Totally not doing it for me.

I have to confess to a certain amount of procrastination in preparing pictures for this post. I very rarely like the pictures taken of me, but on occasion they come out well. Today's Slap goes out to another tennis player/model, FelicianoLopez. He appears to do more than a little bit of modeling, but based on the fact that the Spaniard is in the quarter finals at this year's U.S. Open I'm guessing he's a reasonably good tennis player too...
I had actually never heard of him until I saw coverage of his win over American Donald Young today. And while he's no Tommy Haas, he's definitely worth keeping an eye on.
