Nearly two years ago I Slapped Mark Wahlberg for the first time, but I have to confess that I should have waited. Because earlier this year he starred as Bob Lee Swagger in Shooter. I only caught the movie on the plane on the way back from Europe, but Marky Mark really looked fabulous in it. Too bad the movie sucked.
Anyway, as I'm sure you know Mark played a porn star in Boogie Nights, and played Captain Leo Davidson in the remake of Planet of the Apes. He didn't take off his shirt in that movie, but he still looked quite good.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he has too much on the horizon, mostly doing Executive Producer stuff, but he looks slated to be in the upcoming The Brazilian Job.
Still one of the best and JK is right, aging quite well. You musta missed INVINCIBLE. He was hot in that one too. I'm still waiting for the porn version of MARKY MARK GETS F*CKED-A-BUNCH, or COCKSTAR, or THE CORRUPTED. There's a milliom of them, try it!

Yeah, OK, I saw him in "The Shootist" and another film with Matt Damon - sorry, forgot the name. I have loved him since the Calvin Klein ads. Always wondered if he was getting it on with Calvin, especially now that Calvin has been outed. I mostly agree with the other commenters, but his face is getting a bit rough for 40. The body remains quite nice though.

Actually, he accomplished a great deal more as Mayor: lowered taxes 23 times, greatly reduced crime, instituted sound fiscal policies. Don't you think that the leadership shown during and after 9-11 is a hugely desirable quality for a Pres.?

I would say he's exploited 9-11 more than anything. And yes, I'm a New Yorker who knew people in the Towers.
As a mayor, NY did need a bulldozer more than anything at the time, and he did OK in that capacity (he's a prosecutor after all) but those are definitely NOT the qualities I want in a Pres. The Pres MUST be a statesman and represent all citizens, including around the globe. He clearly can't do that.
As for our mayors, I think Bloomberg has done significantly better. Of course, this is all just opinion :-)

Cris and Eric were kind enough to point out to me that my favorite Jamie Bamber made AfterElton's Hot 100 list of the hottest guys around.
...we at AfterElton.com took it upon ourselves to see what would happen if we asked gay and bisexual men — and gay and bisexual men only — to vote for their favorite fellas.
I have to confess that I'm siding with Cris in being shocked and outraged that Jamie only made it to #25. Obviously they didn't ask me...

Okay, I know degree of hotness is highly subjective and I might not quibble about a place or two, but I have to question the judgment of the person or persons who put: (i) Gale Harold even one place above Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Ian Somerhalder, and many others; (ii) T. R. Knight above almost all of those with numbers higher than his, notably Jamie Bamber(?), Tom Welling (?!), Eddie Cibrian (!!); (iii) Anderson Cooper and Jensen Ackles 13 and 10 places, respectively, above Paul Walker.

I have to agree that he's definitely hot, but some of the pictures make him look a bit too much like a musclehead. And it's not that I have anything against bald guys - it can be wicked hot - but I think Noah here should stick to the hair. And he shouldn't shave his chest either, for that matter...
Noah was also in the frat fest that was The Skulls, and he's had a number of guest appearances on various series over the years. Sci-fi seems to be especially fond of his work.

Hottie Harry Potter
My husband and I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night, and I have to say it was quite good. I'm a big fan of the books, so I have to give the expected caveat that it's not nearly as good as the book, but my husband hasn't read the book and he really enjoyed it.
I also just finished book number seven. Yes, I was one of the geeky people who called UPS freaking out when my book hadn't arrived on July 21. I can't say it was the best of the seven books, but it was nice to have so many questions answered.
Oh, and as I'm sure you're aware, Harry is looking quite hot these days...
Today we get a fresh supply of twink, right off the boat. Our Slap comes at the request of Nathan - and at least one other person who, as usual, I can't track down. Fabian Hambuechen is a German gymnast, about whom I can find very little - at least very little in English.
It seems he was in the 2004 Olympics, but he was the youngest German competitor, so I don't think he managed a stunning performance. I assume that since he'll be 21 next year, he'll be in the Olympics in Beijing and will do much better. Let's hope we see more of this cutie!
Carl wrote a while back to suggest that I Slap British rugger Will Matthews, and he was kind enough to follow up with some pics of this fine specimen. And all I can really say is wow!!
And I really have to point out again that if you have a suggestion that's this hot, pester me about him. Especially if there are pics out there that are this good -- I'm ashamed to admit that Carl sent along most of these pics in August. Ack! He got lost in the shuffle for that long! It's a crying shame.

Today's Slap goes out to a guy who's needed a good smack for some time - actor Freddy Rodriguez. I was actually looking for pics for Adam Rodriguez, who's been suggested twice recently, but the pics of Freddy were more readily available (at least this morning), so he's the man for today.
Freddy you may remember - or you may notice below - is best known, at least to me, as the undertaker (?), embalmer, whatever guy in Six Feet Under, still one of the best shows ever to be on TV. Interestingly, he's been in Ugly Betty a fair amount recently - I haven't seen every episode, but I've seen a few and not noticed him. Hmmm...

2. The Holodeck. I mean, it's cool and all. But do you really believe that people would use it to re-create Sherlock Holmes mysteries and old-west saloons? Come on, we all know what the holodeck would be used for. And we also know what the worst job on the Enterprise would be: Having to squeegie the holodeck clean.
The Holodecks can't be used for personal pleasure programs as this is a ship of exploration with many families on board and under military jurisdiction. That is why there is shore leave and why Riker flirts with so many women. Quark's Holo-Suites on DS9 are different. They are a paid endulgence and aren't under the same restrictions as the free Holodecks. Kind of like free network TV and Pay-Per-View Porn.

Perusing my hard drive again this morning, I ran across another guy that really should have been Slapped before now. He's kinda young (21), but all of the skin pics are after he turned 18. At least as far as I can tell.
Anyway, today's feature is actor Jamie Bell. Jamie is surely best known for playing the title role in Billy Elliot, which, if you haven't seen it, was a brilliant movie. Amazingly, it was Jamie's first movie role.

Today's Slap goes way back to the last winter Olympics in Torino. I was perusing my hard drive this afternoon, and stumbled across today's victim and realized that he'd never been Slapped and desperately needed a good one. KrisFreeman is an extremely hot (and good, for what it's worth ) cross-country skier for the US Olympic Team.
The amazing thing about Kris is that just before the Olympics in Salt Lake City, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. For an athlete to compete at his level with type 1 diabetes is incredible, and to look as hot as he does is just icing on the incredible cake.
It doesn't appear as if he medaled in either of the Olympics he participated in, but he's had some success in the world championships. I don't know if he'll be competing in Vancouver, but let's hope so!
You know, I really should have Slapped him a long time ago, but the recent news that he had posed for a recent Calvin Klein ad finally woke me from my trance and today's Slap-ee is actor Djimon Hounsou.
Fortunately, Towleroad had a couple of the pictures from the Calvin ads.
Most recently, and notably, Djimon was in the fabulous Blood Diamond. Well, technically he was in Eragon more recently than that, but ewww. Djimon also had a great role in Gladiator and he was in The Island with former Slap Ewan McGregor. And of course there was one of his earliest roles in Amistad.
Let us not forget that one of his earlist works was in one of Janet Jacksons videos. He was all slicked up and was bright and beautiful.

Let's not be bitchy, darlings! I find both Shawn Christian and Andrew Cooper extremely hot, and wouldn't say no to either one of them. I love Ryan le Bar too! I find it sad that so many gay men are ageist and think that boys and men who look like boys are the only 'men' worth listing for, but I also hate that other gay men value 'maturity' simply because they mistakenly believe its more masculine. That's also sad. It's why I hate contests like this on gay sites; all the ugly, ageist stuff comes to the fore, as well as the issue of masculinity. Anyway, they were two of my favourites, and I'm glad they came in first.

I have to say I'm a little surprised the other guy won. I mean, he's not unattractive... just nothing special, as far as I can tell. He's a little vanilla, like most soap stars. Andrew is a little more unique, a little more memorable. And he's got a variety of looks.
I've had two recent requests for a re-Slap of Chris Evans, and since it's been over two years since he last got the treatment, I thought I'd give him another go - especially since I think he's running a close second to Jamie Bamber in terms of massive hotness right now.

Perfection.......perfect amount of chest/belly hair, and he can carry off the scruffy beard and make it look hot and adorable (unlike many young actors who try it and just look like they slept on a park bench).
Cay wrote something like 100 years ago to suggest that I Slap today's victim, Daniel "Cloud" Campos. In case you didn't know, he is (or at least was - I don't keep up with these things) one of Madonna's dancers.
Honestly, I tried to Slap him way back when Cay first suggested him, but I couldn't find much material to work with. But in the intervening months, people have posted quite a few nice pictures of him.
I have to say - and I confess, I don't say this very often - he might be just a skosh too thin. I dunno, what do you think? But in general, quite hot.

So today's Slap goes out to Belgian cyclist Tom Boonen. Tom seems to be one of the few bikers who reliably shows skin. I assume there must be others, but they're tough to find. But I'll try to round up a few more over the next couple weeks of the tour.

About my birthday...
I forgot to mention this one depressing fact yesterday: I am now the age of Homer Simpson.
I know I've done him before - nearly to death - but that's OK. Since it's my birthday today, I'm Slapping Jamie Bamber again, very much in the theme of "It's my birthday..."
One of the reasons for today's Slap is, of course, that Jamie's still my favorite Slap ever. Another is that I just finished the most recent season of Battlestar Galactica and was reminded of how much I enjoy the show - and how fucking exciting it is!! - so I just had to do him again.
Happy Birthday!! Thanks for giving us a present with the Jamie re-slap. I never tire of gazing at the perfection that is Jamie!!

The run-off wasn't a bad idea, but I wouldn't have minded if you had called the winner or just declared a tie. In the first vote, I just couldn't decide between them and flip-flopped between Andrew and Shawn before finally voting for Andrew, who ended up on top twice for me.

I am really surprised as to how close the vote is. The biggest proportion of votes in the original balloting went to men other than Christian and Cooper, and- given my personal assessment of the attributes of those other "candidates" whose votes now go to the two finalists- I'd have predicted a landslide for Cooper in the runoff. I guess you can't underestimate the appeal of a classic chiseled chin and muscular hairy chest and six pack. I have to admit that I voted for Shawn in the runoff but really expected to be on the losing end of this one.

Sorry for the delay, but I finally have voting up for June! I had a (comparatively) light day here in London, so I was able to get the important things done.
Anyway, I don't even remember who we did in June? Was anyone of particular note? Looks like Andrew Cooper was good, and Christian Klien is still my favorite race car driver. Oh, and Alex Gonzalez was a very nice late comer to the field. And Topher Grace wasn't super popular, but I thought he was a nice addition. So, let's have it! Who was your favorite for the month?

I think because of the close vote, there should be a run-off declared between Andrew Cooper and Shawn Chistian--perhaps to make it interesting, you should include Ryan Lebar.
I'll be attending Wimbledon on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll have a nice sunny day and can Slap some hot tennis player who practices with his shirt off. I have to confess, however, that I'm not optimistic about my chances. It looks like rain for Wed...
I discovered today's Slap, Irish singer RonanKeating, while perusing my cousin's CD collection. I tried my hardest not to squeal when I saw someone so cute as on his CD cover, although I have to confess that some of his pictures look better than others.
Ronan was - I didn't know this! - part of Boyzone, and has, since about 1999, released a number of solo albums. And interestingly, Ronan is the only person ever, according to Wikipedia - you be the judge - to have had 30 consecutive number one singles on the UK charts. Nice!
Actually Wikipedia says 30 consecutive top 10 singles not number ones. That must also include Boyzone since he only has a few solo albums and a greatest hits.
