He was in one of my favorite stupid movies ever - Real Genius, which was his second appearance on the big screen. He was also in Batman Forever, and as Bernardo mentioned - one of my favorite sci-fi films - Red Planet.
Okay, Val WAS hot, was being the operative word here, and you forgot one of the best ones yet, Top Gun, the volleyball match scene kept this boy happy in his prepubescent days...I know that he has let himself go, but do we need the evidence of pic #7 - YUCK!!!

There's nothing like a gay man faced with a reminder that one day he too will be old. No longer perfect, no longer "hot". He will be one of the "not over's" that the younger guys aren't looking for - not over 25, 30, 40, 50, not weight/height proportional..... The six pack will become a case and then a keg. You might avoid some of the body change but you'll still be old. It's only a matter of time. Time waits patiently for you. That having been said, do we really need a reminder???

I thought that this site was supposed to show the hot side of men. That one picture showing a very out of shape Val is not very attractive.
I suppose if you're trying to show the human side of a celebrity, then you made your point. Perhaps you just have a thing for guts. Albeit some guys do look great with a gut, however Val is not one of them especially in that photo.
You knew that you would get typically harsh internet responses. By putting that picture up, you've pretty much descended to the level of a tabloid. Congratulations on your new achievement.

So you've got one, and now you complain about that. Why not just enjoy the pictures you like and skip past the ones you don't, and if the days slap doesn't please, just move on and try tomorrow? Also, I have to confess to wondering just what was going on when he was nearly naked at a baseball game - I suppose it was some sort of charity clothing auction, but didn't anyone want to buy his underwear??

George has an older brother, Geoff, not a twin. He also played a recurring role on 7th Heaven as George's brother on the show. It should also come as no surprise that they were both A & F models back in the Herb Ritts days. You know, back when they would pile 10 guys in a shower and turn the water on...The issue that I have was a "Back to School" catalog, lots of hunky frat guys. The shoot was in Philadelphia, beautiful scenery, I mean guys.

Pushing Daisies
I watched the first couple episodes of the season of Pushing Daisies tonight, and I have to confess I'm hooked. Flush with a Tim Burton vibe, the show reminds me most of Edward Scissorhands without the creepy overtones. Which is rather surprising, actually, given the show's premise of a guy who brings people back from the dead, if only briefly.
And I do confess that one of the reasons that I enjoy the show is its star, Lee Pace. They showed him, very briefly, in a bubble bath in episode 2, but you couldn't see anything. Here's hoping we'll see more soon.
Oh. And I should say that I watched the episodes on ABC.com's full episode viewer. You really should try it if you haven't - it's fantastic.

But also, there is Swoozie Kurtz, Kristen Chenoweth, Ellen Greene, and the rest of the very talented cast. And it is done like a fairy tale, which is something I have never seen before on primetime.

I LOVE this show and Lee Pace is such a cutie. Isn't he the guy that played the transvestite in A Soldiers Girl?
I'm honestly ashamed to admit that I watched Another Gay Movie for the first time. I guess there's no reason to be ashamed. It's an exceedingly stupid movie, but it was quite entertaining. And the eye candy is fabulous. If you want an easy summary, it's "Gaymerican Pie".
Anyway today's Slap is part of that eye candy. Mitch Morris played Griff, the uber-geeky gay boy. They really worked hard to make him geeky and unattractive, but didn't succeed. He looked fine throughout the movie. I found a few screen caps, and made a few of my own.
In the end, Griff he hooked up with another hottie - and former Slap - Jonathan Chase.
Mitch was also in Queer as Folk for a few episodes, but that must have been when I was skipping the show. Because I can't believe I would have missed him. He also had a role in the short-lived E-Ring.
Finally, does anyone else think he looks kinda like Kerr Smith?
Since Brendan was kind enough to send me some very nice pictures of Ian Somerhalder, I thought it was only fair to make him today's Slap. What pictures, you ask? The numerous pictures of his ass, and a couple (depending on how you count) of his bits. Nice! And then there's the picture of him with a miniature dachsund that I know H will love.
And Ian really is beautiful. Yes, I know he's said some less than pleasant things, but he did, after all, play gay in The Rules of Attraction. And hell, he "played gay" in Lost, even if it was kinda lame.
Ian was also in Smallville for a few episodes. I'm not sure where the nude pics came from, but honestly, they're just not enough. I guess I really wanna see him in a porn flick.
He is so DAMN beautiful... what I wouldn't do for one night with him...

Lovely. Finally a nude scene from Ian. He sort of promised once (in an interview) that he might do one when the time was ripe and this is a good one.
This guy has done so many incredible photoshoots. I would agree, though, that he's sometimes a bit shaggy. I would like him not to be quite so zealous in shaving off his body hair but it's allright keeping that beard in check.
He hasn't really said any unpleasant things. After doing The Rules of Attraction he was probably terrified that he would be typecast as gay (also cos he's so pretty) and not get any decent roles (yes, that's the harsh reality) so he made a point of explaining that he really really hadn't liked to kiss James van der Beek. That's about it, one would have liked him to have had more moral courage and maturity at 24 – but I myself think it was blown out of proportion (some really disappointed gays perhaps!). I'm sure he regrets this and has learned his lesson and I hope he proves it by doing more gay roles.

I don't know much else about him, but I do have this personal bit to share: You'll see a picture after the jump of Paul (I'm pretty sure it's Paul) in a chair, with a girl at a makeup desk in the foreground. Paul looks fabulous, of course. Well, I remember seeing that picture at Juicy's house ages ago - and I'd always wondered who it was. Now I know.

Jeremy is responsible for today's Slap of actor Penn Badgley. I confess never having heard of Penn, which is really a shame. Because what a hottie!! He certainly looked pretty good when he was a bit younger, but the more recent pics? He looks amazing. And it looks like he has some nice fur on his chest these days.
Jeremy apparently saw him in Gossip Girls and really enjoyed the view. I'm hoping that Gossip Girls is a big success and we start to see more of Penn. I wanna see that hairy chest!

He's been on Scrubs a number of times, playing J.D.'s friend, right? I think? And lately he's been playing in The Unit. And although I didn't see the episode, I'm guessing the skin pics after the jump came from his appearance on House M.D., which I have to confess is one of my favorite shows.
I guess his biggest role to date, however, was as Noel Crane on Felicity for several years.
I really do wish he'd take off his shirt more. He's got such a nice furry chest, it's a shame to hide it.

Watching Firefly on dvd lately and Serenity, it occurred to me that Sean Maher who played the luscious doctor may not yet have been slapped; or did I miss that one?

He's been in a few other things, but I really can't tell you much. And I do have to ask this: Is Firefly worth watching? I'm a sci-fi geek, but some of the series just can't seem to get it right.
I agree with John. Firefly is one of the better sci-fi series of the recent past. It ended too soon if you ask me.

Firefly is *essential* viewing for any sci fi fan. Watch it today! In a way, Firefly is a western. A sci fi western, or western sci fi--genre-wise it's very unique. The writing is terrific, the character development is focal and intriguing--it's a biggish ensemble cast that includes the very sexy Nathan Fillion, who appears nude in one scene of the TV series, and the also very sexy hairy-chested Adam Baldwin, blond Alan Tudyk, and of course the beautiful Sean Maher.
First, watch the TV series (there was only one season). Then there is a short bridge graphic novel (which isn't essential to follow story lines) that connects the the TV show to the movie "Serenity," which completes and ends (?) the story.
Joss Whedon is coming out this fall with another graphic novel telling more stories about the characters.

Firefly is one of the better sci-fi series, cancelled WAY too soon. The entire series is available on DVD for around $20 on Amazon, so you owe it to yourself to grab a copy (and Serenity too) and hunker down when you get your next huge snowstorm!

I have read all 7 novels and am currently on my second reading of them. I was floored to read this on the net the other day. However, I am proud that the author of such a widely read series of novels would have considered one of her major characters to be gay without making a huge deal of it during the course of wirting the novels. It's a nice surprise to see that a character I have always loved and admired is batting for the same team!

Danny was one of the few good things about that God-awful film version of Brendan Behan's elegant book, "Borstal Boy." He actually drew some humanity from a script that tried to strip his character of anything resembling truth or humanity. Need I add, his character was gay?
He is cute in a puppy-doggy sort of way, like he'd be fun to have around and play with...until he started pissing on the couch and chewing up your slippers and you had to punish him...wait...that raises ideas in my warped little brain...

Call yourself a media buff and you've never heard of Blue Peter! It's just the longest running children's programme in the world and next year celebrates it's 50th anniversary. They have had some hot presenters down the years and rarely a week went by without one of them getting their shirt (or more) off.

Yeah, Guy is cute. But I saw a couple of interviews in which it became all too clear that he wasn't exactly thrilled about playing bisexual. (He actually admitted in one that he was "distraught" when the producers proposed the storyline.)
What about James Sutton, who plays his love interest John Paul? He's cute, and he seems like a decent guy.

For my first Slap back, I'm going with the request of KD (I think it was KD?) who asked that I Slap Jake Gyllenhaal. Well, Jake is absolutely one of my all-time favorites, and he hasn't had a good hard Slap in nearly three years. And since there were some really good pics that hadn't made it in the first time, I thought he was a great choice!
Most of you probably know Jake from his fabulous role as Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain. I can't believe there's anyone out there who hasn't seen it, but if not, hie thee hence to Netflix and rent it!!
There was a rumor floating around out there recently that Jake was "going to come out". I never heard that he did so, but what a lovely idea. So if you know anything tell us - or e-mail me (yes, the link works again ). I promise to keep whatever secrets I learn.
He really is getting better looking as he get older. Personally I like his bearded look better than the clean shaven boy next door look. Does anyone think he'd be as fameous if he hadn't played gay? Having gotten no fewer than 8 boarding passes yesterday, for what turned out to be a single flight, I love the idea of being able check-in for a flight with no paper at all...
I'm now on day 16 of what has become a cross-country odyssey for me. I had originally planned this trip as a brief visit to my mom's house, but I have now covered quite a bit of the country from New York to (now) San Francisco.
I'm exhausted. But I've learned a few things while on this trip:
1) 50,000 frequent flier miles is a fuckload of miles. I know there are plenty of people who do 3 or 4 times that in a year, but this is my first year getting even to 50,000. I need a nap.
2) Avis allows domestic partners to drive their cars with no extra hassle. Nice!
3) Don't get me started on the TSA and airport screening.
4) I don't particularly care to gamble, but if I start it's hard to stop.

Hot hot hot!
I'm in Las Vegas right now working at a show, and yesterday while we were setting up I saw the hottest guy. Ever. Well, 2nd hottest.
Anyway, his name's Tim or Tom or something. He has a great face, a nice little lightly furry chest. And a fabulous British accent.
I'm gonna try to get a picture today. Then I'll see if I can figure out how to post it at least temporarily.
In other news, yep, I'm in Vegas! I'm not a gambler at all - I have yet to wager a single dollar - but I love visiting here. The hotels and people watching are absolutely fascinating to me. I think I like the gestalt of the Bellagio best. The Venetian seems like it should be appealing, but honestly the indoor canals and gondolas with seatbelts just kind of annoy me. And I love the Wynn - the outdoor fountain-pond-thingy with the freaky music and light shows is sweet.
I'm sure I'll gamble a few dollars while I'm here - last time I think I spent $20 - but I've got hotels on my list that I missed before, so I'll be very busy with those.
Update 10/10/2007: "A Days Inn in the shape of a pyramid". Ouch! Anyway, I have a Tom update. Yes, his name is Tom. He's clearly Aussie - LOVE that accent. And he looks great in a suit. Now I wanna see how he looks OUT of the suit...
OK - He starts out in bare feet and white briefs but midway ends up in sweat pants and gym shorts - interesting washing machine! He's doable but looks like he thinks so too.

I REFUSE to be intimidated or to be made to feel guilty for using cash. Visa can kiss my debit card. Most of the time you pay and then wait for your stuff anyway. You REALLY need to learn to relax and not let the little things in life get to you. The check-writing doesn't bother me as much as when they haven't even gotten their check book out of their purse when all the groceries have been rung up. At least they could have it ready and filled out except for the amount. But NOOOOO, that would require thinking of the people in line behind you and having a little consideration, which apparently no one is willing to do anymore. Thank you for letting me vent :-)

There Goes the Bride
I went to my cousin's wedding yesterday, and I have to say that I think it set a new record for the shortest wedding. Ever. Not that I'm complaining - I always figure I'm taking a risk any time I set foot in a church, and I need to get out fast - but I wish I'd known how short it would turn out to be - I'd have put a stop watch on it.
Part of the brevity of the service was the fact that it was in a Methodist church. They're not know for carrying on and on. On top of that put the fact that my cousin and his new wife were marrying in a church mostly at the insistence of their parents; it was not in any way out of what appears, at least to me, to be a personal faith.
So anyway. I did my 15 minutes of church for the year. Phew.

Well, it had to happen eventually. The server that was hosting Bent, and various other blogs, finally crapped out. As in totally. Well, hopefully not totally. But almost totally.
Anyway, as you can see the database is still operational, but the pictures are not. And right now, I'm not anywhere near Colorado. And won't be for a week. But as soon as I'm back I'll get the images put back together.
In the meantime I may actually have to write something on this blog rather than just posting pictures of hot guys.
Someone wrote a while back to recommend that I check on the hotties on L.A. Models. What an outstanding idea!! Today's hottie is shamelessly stolen from that effort. Dan Eisengart is my personal favorite from the site, but I'll defintiely be featuring other of their hotties in the next few weeks.

Wow. I really can't believe it. With the choice of all of those hotties, you voted me Slap of the Month. I'm pretty sure the person who commented that I was disqualified on a technicality because of the lack of skin was right, but nevertheless, I really do appreciate the votes.

Today's Slap goes out to one of the really pretty ones out there - Stuart Townsend. Better known, perhaps, as Mr. Charlize Theron. For my money, he looked his creepy best in Queen of the Damned where he played a much hotter Lestat than Tom Cruise could even dream of. He also played Dorian Gray in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - never say it, but I can fantasize that he was naked in it the whole time.
This is one of those ones I just don't get at all. I don't get how he's supposed to be gorgeous. I don't get how he was originally going to be Aragorn. I don't get why people like him... I certainly don't. I hated Queen of the Damned. Especially when he played the violin and it was very clear that he had no idea what he was actually doing when they filmed it. Blech.

I've always found him to be just a bit odd looking. not sure what it is...

I don't know about this guy. Okay, he's got a decent body. But something about the face is just a little off. Maybe it's the shadows under his eyes (even without makeup). Or maybe it's the somewhat indistinct jawline. Or maybe just the "dead stare" eyes. I don't know. He just doesn't look fully human (and I'm not just talking about the vampire pictures).

Spammy is threatening to revoke my gay card.
I'm out of town and won't be able to finish the repairs (and post new images) until next weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it then... 
And right now, I'm not anywhere near Colorado. And won't be for a week. But as soon as I'm back I'll get the images put back together.
