"Ben in PA" noted, on my Slap of Marcus Schenkenberg, that I'd never Slapped David Rich, who happens also to be one of my advertisers. Um. I'm honestly not sure how to respond to that except to Slap myself - and not in a good way. Christ, what a dolt.
So today's Slap is - you guessed it! - David Rich. David is known for his "look great naked" training system, and I have to say he certainly does. David was in a Playgirl spread not too long ago, and I assume there were some frontal shots, but I couldn't lay my hands on those. And heck, it might be unseemly to have naked pictures of your advertisers floating around on your blog...

Dan wrote recently to point out what may be my most glaring oversight in the history of Bent. I dunno, maybe not the most glaring, but shocking nonetheless.
Marcus Schenkenberg was one of the very first - and still one of the highest paid - male super models. He's shown up, as you might expect, in ads for people like Calvin Klein.
He's done a bit of TV work, including As the World Turns and Prince Valiant. Plus, of course, the incredible feature about him and his super-modely-ness that I swooned over as an in-the-closet 20 year old (or so).
Those first shots of Marcus are most excellent. Amazing how he's maintained his great looks over the years.
I remember when I first spotted him, with no idea of what was to come, as a teenager skating around Venice Beach in Los Angeles. Week after week he was there, always shirtless, joining a group that would skate-dance to music from a boombox.
He was so breath-taking, I brought my camera one day and took dozens of photos.
It was not till years later that I realized I had shot this future star.

I've always loved Marcus, and he's held up very well over the years. He should have better taste in women...
Peter Gallagher??? He's an attractive guy, but I don't see any similarity at all.
Today's Slap goes out to actor Lane Garrison, lately (I think) of the series Prison Break. I watched P.B. for several episodes in the beginning, but for some reason just didn't feel compelled to continue watching - it seemed like a great show, but there was something missing for me. I know it sounds weird, but I just couldn't stick with it.
Anyway, Lane may or may not still be in the show (people seemed to die fairly regularly), but he's definitely looking good, regardless. It looks like he's also in the upcoming Shooter.
I have to confess, however, that while I generally find shaved heads sexy, it doesn't look right on him - he's better with hair.
He IS a hottie. But I read he was involved in a fatal car crash where he was the driver. I can't remember if it was a DUI or not. This just happened a few weeks ago.

Another thing to ad to the DUI he killed the 17 year old boy he was with. Although the two 16 year girls weren't hurt. Question is what's a guy in his mid to late twenties hanging out with teenagers?
Mike wrote the other day to suggest that since I'd Slapped Andrew Shue from Melrose Place, he had a few more suggestions.
And today's Slap, Dan Cortese, was one of the suggestions. He was only on M.P. for 8 episodes, but I think he still deserves credit. Dan's favorite role for me is his turn as the "mimbo" in Seinfeld, of course, but his biggest role was in the Kirstie Alley vehicle Veronica's Closet. He was also in the absolutely dreadfulThe Lottery, based on the Shirley Jackson short story.

Thom wrote to request today's Slap, soap Charles Divins. He seems especially appropriate because I was watching A Very Soapy Christmas this morning. Charles wasn't on that, but there were several hot soap stars that I thought I should Slap - but Thom's request arrived at just the right time, so I decided Charles was today's victim.
In addition to starring in Passions Charles has - well, he seems to have done almost nothing. Hmmm. But he is pretty fucking hot. Even if he's not quite as hot as Justin Hartley against whom he's directly compared after the jump.
As usual when it comes to soap stars, pictures were shamelessly swiped from SoapHunks.net, who is by far the best source for daytime TV skin pics.
Rob (not me) wrote I don't know how long ago to request today's hottie. And honestly, I've wanted to Slap him for ages, but I just didn't have a selection of pictures that I was really happy with. But I decided that today was the day, regardless of pictures - I managed to come up with a couple more than I already had, but nothing earth shattering.
With that said, Pawel Szajda is today's Slap. He's surely best known for his turn as Pawel, the Polish contractor, in Under the Tuscan Sun, one of my absolute favorite movies.
He was also in Venom and had a guest appearance in Hope & Faith as "College Guy". Sounds hot. Actually, he apparently had a fairly hot scene or two in Venom also...
He hasn't been doing very much, but he was also in this year's release of Death without Consent.
David really saved my bacon this morning - I'd been sitting here, taking the day off, reading and looking at porn, and I realized that I had to come up with a Slap for the day.
Lo and behold, I got an e-mail from David, chock full of pictures of Yul Kwon, recent winner of Survivor 13 that I've been wanting to Slap anyway. Nice! Thanks, David!
So anyway, Yul was definitely one of the hottie members on the island this time around in Survivor. I still maintain that Ozzy was just a skosh hotter, but Yul definitely earns a good, solid passing grade. I know there were others - including the two that are reported to have hooked up, but they'll have to be Slapped another day.
I hope that today's Slap makes up for the very poorly received Slap from yesterday. I won't even say his name again.
But inspired by the recent Slap of Ozzy from Survivor, I was looking around for some other good Survivor pics. I still haven't found Yul (fingers crossed), but I did find some pretty good pictures of the hottie host Jeff Probst. Did you know he's 45? He just doesn't look it to me.
According to IMDb Jeff has done very little else other than live a (moderately) cushy life in far-off locations while the Survivor contestants survive on grubs and rats. Nice work if you can get it, I imagine. And hell, he's got an Emmy on his mantel.
Update: David was kind enough to send along the naked pics of Jeff Probst. I'm always suspicious of nude pics of celebs, there are so many convincing fakes out there, but these look pretty good.
He reminds me of that other generic game show host -- the one who hosted the last incarnation of Hollywood Squares, and is now hosting the current Home Videos series.

The last pic is from Entertainment Weekly a couple years ago. That's when a lot of people first realized Jeff has a rockin' body under those safari clothes.

Blizzard's a comin' a here
Denver is getting a whopper of a storm today. Boulder, just north of Denver, has already gotten 16" of snow as of the last report I saw. My husband and I were going to head to Denver for a last-minute shopping and party excursion today, but it looks like that'll have to wait until Friday.
I knew it was a bad storm when I saw that the malls were closing.
Even though Aspen isn't getting a huge amount of snow, it'll still affect us because a large number of travelers were scheduled to fly here from Denver, but the Denver airport is all but closed until tomorrow at noon or so.
Me and my husband are going to Greelely Colorado to visit my parents for Christmas. We are leaving Oklahoma City, which we just had an earthquake which in itself is strange, on Friday morning to Drive to Greeley. Hope the roads are clear.
I honestly can't believe I'm posting this guy as a Slap, but I got a request for him from Frank, so I figured I'd throw him out there and see if he sticks. Or if anyone gets sticky.
For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past couple of years (perhaps that's not fair - people who don't live in the U.S. might not know this freak...), Kevin Federline has been married to Britney Spears for about 2 years - they are currently defending traditional marriage by getting divorced.
So what does everyone think? For the most part, I think he just looks creepy. So I'm gonna have to let Frank do the speaking for Kevin since I really can't come up with much that's positive to say:
I know that K-Fed is an asshole -- but he's a HOT asshole. He was too good for Britney. And he needs a slap.

Kevin is HOT. I don't get how this, "WAY over the top" getting on his case has evolved, I opt not to join the band wagon on the hating, it has become too trendy anymore. There's alot worse insult and injury caused by others in the public eye. His talent is definitely not honed or refined; but, he's cute, driven, very masculine (in an adolescent irritating way), & rumored to be very hung. He has a thin/athletic built, and a nice face. He is mostly just young. The age at which one can be one's own worse enemy. I don't know a lick about his music (nor do I care about Keanu Reeves acting ability; or lack thereof.) The reason is that something is "off" is body definition is disproportionate. The first pic is ok, but if you look at the others his trapezoids are undeveloped which makes his neck look really long. He just needs to work on upper back and shoulders which will balance out his physique.

Biggest mistake people make when trying to develop great abs
Some point along the way we got the idea that if we do a hundred reps for are abs they'll get ripped. Wrong. Abs are like any other muscle. Would you develop your biceps or chest with 100 reps? No.
To develop great abs you need to do two things: develop the muscle and reduce body fat. You can reduce your body fat % by eating right and doing cardio. To develop solid abdominal muscles you need to train your abs the way you train the rest of your muscles. Do the proper rep range, 6-20 reps with is the best rep range for building muscle. Give your muscle the proper amount of rest between workouts, this amount will depend on intensity. And train hard!

Brian, over at his drive-in theater has a nice bio of Van. Apparently he started out as Kenny Madison in Bourbon Street Beat and when that show was dropped, his character was picked up in Surfside 6.
He was also in 3 episodes of Batman as The Green Hornet. It looks like he hasn't been doing much of anything in the last 25 years or so.
Van William's actually had his own t.v show as "Yhe Green Hornet", with Bruce Lee as his sidekick "Kato".

To counteract the over-the-top twinkishness of yesterday's Slap, I offer today's victim, actor Trevor Lissauer. He's thin, but at least he's starting to develop a little bit of chest hair there, and he's thin, but not so thin that you can see bones poking out in weird places.
He was also in Undressed, which indicates a certain level of twink, of course, but I think he's only marginally there, at best. He was on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch for a number of episodes and is currently set to be in American Cowslip coming up soon.
I will agree that while he's not a worthy "Slap of the Month" candidate, he does have a certain boy-next store cuteness (like Seth Green).

Sorry about the missed Slap yesterday, but I was ... um ... busy. Right. That's it. Busy. Actually, I'm traveling right now and that always fucks up my schedule. Plus I was having a drink or two. So what are you gonna do?
Anyway, the person with whom I was drinking at 3:30 in the afternoon and I were having a discussion on the finer points of "twink-ishness". We settled on a loose definition, but these things are always so hard to put into words. Instead, I think I'll put them into pictures. Now.
Ryan Taylor is a model that's been getting a fair amount of talk lately, and I guess I can see why. I mean he has a certain attractiveness to him, but the problem is there's just no muscle tone there - I'm not looking for beefy or anything, but I can see too many bones on this guy. In his defense, those look like they might be older pictures and that he might have put on a little bit of muscle in the meantime, but he's still just a skosh too thin.
Somebody better alert Dateline and those "To Catch A Predator" folks -- this guy looks WAY young. He truly looks like he looks 15 in some of these pics.

He's basically a boy-next-door type, but only so-so in the looks department. No body to speak of. The best that can be said of him is that his look is so generic that it can be easily sculpted by talented hair, make-up and fashion artists. He's a mannikin, not a man. Actor Jonathan Chase was in this year's Another Gay Movie (also here). Billed as "Four gay high school friends make a pact to lose their virginity before they go to college", it got lousy reviews from the critics, but seems to have a decent fan following, probably due mostly to the fact of all the nudity, samples of which can be seen after the jump.
After AGM, Jonathan seems to have jumped to the UPN series One on One. The series appears still to be in production, and it's been on for 5 or more years - how can I not have heard anything about it?
I thought the movie was shallow, but Jonathan was great eye candy.
Does anybody else remember the 80's porn actor Lee Ryder? Lee was a constant lust-object back in the day, and I think Jonathan is a Lee clone.

The movie was god awful. It was shallow, humorless, vapid, disgusting, and had absolutely no wit, cleverness, style, or class. American Pie was a bad movie to begin with, why they decided to copy it almost exactly I do not know. We did not need a gay version of teen gross-out comedies.
With that said, the boys were very cute, jonathan included, especially the blonde nerdy one (I thought his booty was nice as well as his preety blue eyes, don't know why he thought he needed to enhance it, yet another reason the movie was idiotic).

Uh... actually Jonathan was on One on One *before* Another Gay Movie... he came aboard during the show's final season which ended when UPN went off the air and wasn't picked up for The CW. Unless it's some mid-season replacement, it's not coming back.
But yeah, you DEFINITELY need to slap Matt Morris, who played the "nerd" in AGM. He was a hottie in "Queer as Folk" too (he was the leader of that militant Pink Posse in season 4)...

Yes, I know - a laptop? That's it? But I've had my BEAST of a laptop for 3 years and I just couldn't take it any more. So this is a nice, zesty Core 2 Duo maching with 2GB of RAM! Woohoo! And it'll actually have a battery life, instead of having so little charge that if the power cord accidentally slips out, the computer dies.
And wow! I can't believe how mnay people were chiming in with my complaints about UPS. Personally, if it's not urgent, I usually use the post office - how can you call yourself successful when a bloated government bureaucracy like the USPS does a better job? - and urgent packages, of course, go FedEx.
It would have been "CONGRATULATIONS!!!" but it isn't a Mac. ;-)

Congrats on the new Dell and surviving a UPS delivery. There are literally thousands of frustrated consumers fuming jealously tonight that you received an actual package while all they got was a crappy yellow sticky and a runaround from brown & company.
I absolutely love my Dell Latitude - no worries and it zips along great. I could use a second battery though - 2 hours of juice at best. Do try FireFox for web browsing - its tab feature is much better than the latest version of Explorer.
About time they were chased away from a funeral. These people are nuts.

You can see that today's Slap is a bit non-standard. Slaps are (obviously) a good thing - for the most part, but occasionally it's OK to say "I just wanna Slap him - and not in a good way." You could apply such to Tom Cruise, for example.
But today it's UPS, or as Snarf noted "Use Purolator Stupid". Indeed. Specifically, UPS has proven itself to be utterly imcompetent in this shipment. Their web site has been routinely worthless, and their phone reps have ranged from knowing nothing: "It'll be there some day". To rude. To outright lies, when one rep explicitly told me my package was already in Denver, when it was still in transit somewhere in the midwest.
So as soon as my package arrives (more on that later), I'll do my very best never to use them again.
Oh, and... WTF is with "What can Brown do for you?" Does that make everyone think of what I think of? It certainly seems appropriate.

I had a package (nintendo wii) scheduled to be delivered last friday and that morning the tracking site said "out for delivery" but then the tracking site said "it was missed at the UPS facility and will be delivered on the next business day". After I called them to see what was up they told me that meant not saturday, but MONDAY! What really pissed me off was that I sat around all day Friday when I had other things I needed to do. Damn you UPS. FedEx has been much more reliable in my experience BTW.

Not being a big fan of major corp's, it pains me to kinda stick up for them. But when you look at your whole tracking history, it say's that the package was not addressed properly. I work from home and get deliveries daily. UPS, without failure, automatically leaves those annoying yellow "missed-you" notes without even ringing the bell because its a house and they are delivering during business hours. They need to take a cue from FexEx and give it a try, what is 30 extra seconds versus another visit the next day?

UPS makes the Post Office look good, an observation I delight in telling them at every opportunity.
Best of luck avoiding UPS: these Bozos have exclusive shipping contracts with most vendors who cannot offer a delivery alternative.
I've had to cancel a number of purchases when I couldn't endure further hassle coordinating a delivery. I make sure the vendor knows exactly why this sale failed.
UPS, like Pan Am, Enron, and Winn Dixie before them, deserve to fail. They're too ignorant and arrogrant to change and survive. Extinction is typically self determined.
FedEx on the other hand has been a hassle free alternative. Missed deliveries can be held at my nearby Kinko's which offers almost 24/7 pickup availability.
18 pounds??? It must be either a medium sized garden gnome or a really dense fruit cake. Am I right?

Is it any wonder that local UPS warehouses don't have published phone numbers or take incoming calls? God forbid UPS allow inconvienced customers to actually confirm their wayward package is actually where they claim it is.
Who doesn't have infinite time to drive 30-40 miles out of their way during rush hour traffic? Why, its people who actually work for a living - consumers whose purchases keep UPS alive and shipping. There's something very wrong with this equation.

I have loved Jason Mraz since the beginning. He's so hot, great in concert and he's even open minded. There was an article on gay.com a few years ago where he admitted fooling around/experimenting with his college roommate. Oh, mercy!
Mike wrote a while back to recommend today's Slap - actor Jonathon Schaech.
I looked over his entire resume and can honestly say that I haven't seen anything that he's been in, although I have seen some pretty interesting pictures of him and Matt Keeslar in Splendor. And one of my current favorites Eric Mabius is in there too, although I haven't seen any "interesting" shots of that...
According to IMDb, he's currently married to Christina Applegate (remember Married with Children?) but has filed for divorce. Maybe he's switching teams... Hey, I can dream!
He is hot!!!!! I have had my eye on him since "Hush". Christina Applegate is a lucky lucky girl.

I bought the movie Welcome to Woop Woop, not a good movie, so that I could see his great body and ass. He is a beautiful man, a flawless man, and he is not an arrogant SOB either.
I can't remember a SotM winner who won by such a lopsided margin in a long time - if ever. Marco Dapper really ran away with November's voting, although I'm still hanging on to my belief that it's because he showed his bits - and OH! what bits:

I have to confess that I didn't vote for Neil, but it was strictly an oversight. I was kinda rushed as I created the post, and I didn't look over every candidate. I ended up voting for Dave Annable (who's really cute, don't get me wrong), but had I noticed Neil I would have voted for him - what a HOTTIE! And he came out, too. Fabulous!!
In looking more carefully at November's guys, I'm nervous about December - how am I going to get so many consistenly hot guys for another 27 days? Well, it'll be fun trying, regardless.
I saw him yesterday on famousmales forums, and there's kinda been a vague hint of a theme that includes him lately, so I figured I'd go ahead and Slap Andrew Shue.
I think it's safe to say that Andrew, playing Billy, was by far my favorite Melrose Place-r. His acting was truly terrible, but who was paying much attention to that? He was fucking gorgeous on that show!
Andrew has done nothing - truly, nothing - on-screen since Melrose Place ended. At least as far as IMDb knows. But it looks like he's going to be in a film called Gracie next year in what appears to be a decent role.
Off-screen he's been running a web site called ClubMom - billed as "the premier online destination for moms, by moms". Hmmm.
Hope it's not too late to mention this. His sister Elizabeth was being interviewed (on Leno, I think) and she mentioned that Andrew and her other brothers used to measure themselves on the wall as they were growing up to see how big they were...not tall, how BIG they were. I'd like to see that wall...and some other things.

Since I recently Slapped Jason Priestly, I thought it was only fair that I also get his co-star in Beverly Hills, 90210 - Luke Perry. It strikes me that someone e-mailed me a request for Luke recently, but I can't find it, so if it was you ... well, you know.
Since 90210, Luke seems to have been fairly busy, although I have to say that I don't think I've seen him in anything since then. He had that much talked about guest series in Oz - from which the full-frontal pics after the jump were taken. He also played Jeremiah in the eponymous sci-fi show from 2002 to 2004.
Luke was definitely one of my favorites from 90210 - he had that mysterious air and the brooding good looks of all 25 year olds that play high school kids. And even now, at the fossilized age of 41, Luke looks great. Enjoy!
I remarked in the voting for October that I thought it had been one of the better months full of Slaps. Well, I think that November turned out just as well, if not better. After all, we had Dave Annable, Bryan Greenberg, Maxwell Zagorski, Milo Ventimiglia - and the freshly out of the closet Neil Patrick Harris. What a collection!
Also, it was only up for about a minute, but I screwed up the original version of this post. So if you saw it, you weren't hallucinating.
Anyway, let's hear it - who is November's representative in Slap of the Year going to be??
Sigh. Marco Dapper it is. But why do I feel almost ashamed to have ended up voting for someone so, well, conventional....

Actually, it was the pic with the red pyjama bottoms, and the one right after it with the gray shorts, that finally shattered my determination to vote for "Puffy" Patrick. (Or Bryan Greenberg.) Marco's too conventionally perfect to not follow the crowd.

Missed Slap
Sorry for yesterday's missed Slap, but we finally closed on our spec home yesterday. FINALLY!!!
So I spent yesterday taking care of that and then, in the words of my general contractor, "having a beer or ten".
