Going back to the twins theme, today's slap, at the suggestion of Darwin, is The Barbera Twins. Specifically, Darwin wants to find out who'll be "on top" for July. Sounds good to me.
Today's slap is American cycling sensation Lance Armstrong. He won yet another Tour de France today, further cementing his reuptation as one of the best cyclists ever. He hadn't won a stage in this tour, but rode an incredible time trial, beating 2nd overall (at the start of the stage) Ivan Basso by 1' 54" and Jan Ullrich (and 4th overall at the start of the stage), long considered one of his biggest rivals, by 23".
As an interesting note, the announcers were estimating that Lance was riding the stage at about 55 kph (34 mph). Incredible, after nearly 3000 km of riding over the past few weeks to put in a performance like that.
I didn't catch much of the Tour, but I watched the St-Etienne time trial yesterday and caught Danish rider Mickael Rasmussen having a complete meltdown with at least 2 crashes and 4 bike changes. Wow.
Well, they're not twins, but in this case that's better - sticking at least with the multiple-births theme today I'm slapping the absolutely stunning Karshner Triplets. Good God, what more could anyone want???
They're hot but the Carlson twins are much better!

Good god. A (straight) friend with whom I occasionally do some work has a "summer intern". He graduated from UT within the past couple of years and is getting ready to head back there for law school. I don't like to stereotype, but other people have already set the prerequisites for someone to be considered stereotypical, white people, and people of mixed race are a lot more aesthetically pleasing to me than stereotypical non-white people, of course there are neither white nor stereotypical and those are the ones who only really deserve mentioning. Taye Diggs is stereotypical. Again, if it upsets you, feel superior.

The local fauna
Walking around last night after drinks we ran across a bear who had been dumpster diving (click the image to see it larger):
Yup - the white stuff in his mouth is trash. Not surprising, really. One time we saw a bear trying to abscond with an entire dumpster. Wish I had a pic of that.
Today's slap is the incredibly hot Christiano Ronaldo - footballer for Manchester United. Born in Portugal, this 20-year-old has certainly made lots of headlines lately - and with good reason!! Lots of people have been requesting him as a slap for ages, and I finally got around to it. It shocks me that I've waited to long - he's beautiful!!
He has his earings covered. He is so damn hot. Love to watch his moves on the pitch. He is the most exciting player out there right now not to mention the most delicious.
Today's slap, by request of Jonathan, is Canadian Olympic diver Alexandre Despatie. What a stunning specimen, I must say - I can't believe I missed him last summer! Well, hopefully he'll make it to Beijing. Thanks, Jonathan!

I think the eyebrow ring looks good on the more art-y guys, same with the ocasional earring. And I do think it enhances his already cute face, gives him a bit of an edge.
Tattos can be overdone, but when held back to something personal, it too can enhance a hot guy.

Today's slap, at the suggestion of Cris (love that spelling!), is Spanish actor Eduardo Noriega. I had never heard of Eduardo, but Chris points out that he's probably best known for creating Tom Cruise's role in Abre Los Ojos, the film on which Cruise based Vanilla Sky.
It's been a busy month - and there have been a fair few popular men. But, once again I'm limited to 20 entries in my voting poll. This time I eliminated the ones that got the fewest comments. One of these days I'll suck it up and write code that can handle more choices.

As you may have heard, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is retiring. So far I've only heard gnashing of teeth from the gay community. She was, to be sure, a vote that was often "on our side". I thought I'd include here a link to Paul, over at Right Rainbow with a decidedly different perspective.
As for me, I can't help but like the outcome of many of her decisions, but I'm afraid that I may agree more with Paul that with others about her tenure.
That is total bunk. For people like Paul, the constitution has no flexibility. If you believe that, then you concede to the idea that gays will continue to be discriminated against indefinitely. I suspect that Paul is suffering from a bad case of Stokholm syndrome. Any gay person who supports Scalia or Thomas is supporting his own misery. As for O'Conner, she might have been "slightly" unpredictable, but for the most part she did the right thing, rather then sticking to what some old, pasty white men wrote 200 years ago. As far as I'm concerned, Paul can go screw himself.

Live 8
Tomorrow is the Live 8 concert. I'll admit that I have been paying very little (OK, none) attention to it. My friends know that I'm not the person to ask for information or advice on music - unless you want to know how to connect your computer to your home theater for playing MP3's.
Anyway, Chris over at Boy's Briefs has a few stern words for the hochos at MTV and VH1 regarding their programming schedule for Live 8. Specifically, the reunion of Pink Floyd and its former leader (and true artistic talent) Roger Waters.
All of this is news to me, but it's definitely exciting. As a freshman in college, I was lucky enough to see not one but two Pink Floyd shows (fun times, huh John?). And while they were fantastic, Waters' absence diminished the concert. And, of course, his leaving did nothing at all for their music, but that's another story. So the chance to see them perform, albeit on TV, with Roger Waters is amazing. So I'm setting my Replay - now I just have to figure out how to record 3 channels at once.
Oh, and I have to agree completely with Chris:
I'll be watching tomorrow. And if you don't broadcast Pink Floyd's entire performance, I swear to God I will hunt you down and I will kill you.
Given recent coverage of live events (like Wimbledon) by the major media recently, I'm not optimistic. In the meantime I'll be here listining to The Final Cut. Where the hell is my Dark Side of the Moon disc??
Today's slap is actor Jason Patric. He's not exactly furry, but hopefully he'll entertain those of you who like a little chest hair.
Anyway, if you're wondering, you may have seen him in the vampire flick The Lost Boys - you remember the teenage girl flick where he appeared with Corey Haim and Corey Feldman? And p.s., whatever happened to those two? Anyway, Jason was also in the perfectly dreadful Speed 2:Cruise Control. Research into Jason's other roles is left as an exercise to the reader.
