My new guilty pleasure
I am terribly ashamed to admit it, but I have a new guilty pleasure. In the same way that you have to look as you pass a car wreck on the side of the highway, I watched I Want to be a Hilton on Sunday. It was dreadful - and beyond stupid - but strangely compelling. I'm afraid I'll be hooked for the season, even though last night's episode was, if it's possible, even worse.
But, since you asked, there's at least one cute guy - Jaret, the "Phone Sales" guy and kindergarten teacher from Rendon, TX. I will say this - when Jaret stripped down and went running into the ocean on the last episode he looked really good. Now, I have to hope that the show works on his accent - that Texas drawl is just too much. Oh, and for those who like their men slightly thicker, there's my husband's favorite, JW, the construction worker from Byram, MS.
Today's slap, at the suggestion of Thom, is Steve Sandvoss. Props to Thom for these, because he "doesn't see the fuss". Hmmm. Thom may need to see an eye doctor, methinks.
Nevertheless, he did suggest Steve and sent along a nice selection of pics too! So anyway, Steve's most famous exploit to date is his excellent turn as an uptight Mormon boy in Latter Days. If you haven't seen it, you must. Right now. Stop reading. Go.

Steve is stunning, and that's all there is to it. His performance in "Latter Days" was incredibly charming, moving, believable, etc., etc. If you look carefully at his photos (and there are more at http://spazicus.com/mark/steve.htm and http://www.tomsbodypix.com/) he's some kind of chameleon, presenting totally different modeling looks and moods. Hoping to see much more of him in the future...

I had got a desire to start my organization, however I didn't have got enough amount of cash to do this. Thank goodness my close mate said to utilize the credit loans. Therefore I used the secured loan and made real my dream.
John was kind enough to correspond recently and send along some lovely new pictures of April's Slap of the Month Winner Jeremy Bloom. Some of them may be duplicates, but there's some nice new material here. Thanks, John!
Since Jeremy isn't competing in this month's Slap of the Month contest, I figured I'd just post some bonus material.
I'm still waiting for someone to send me the pic that (I've heard) shows him smooching on another boy. Come on, people!
Holy Crap! He is FINE! He is so hot! His smile makes me melt and harden at the same time, lol. He has such a cute baby face with a body that makes me tingle; good combination.
I have been derelict in my duties as your host. There I said it - the first step is getting it out in the open. How, you ask? (Other than the nearly-universally-disliked Slap of Jason Gore yesterday?) I haven't slapped Christian Bale since September. And he has a smoking hot new movie out (also featuring the future ex-Mrs. Cruise). But Dan was kind enough to remind me of my sin of emission omission. And Christian really is one of the hottest guys in movies today, so my neglect of him is nearly unforgivable. Nevertheless, here he is. Enjoy.

On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, I thought I'd include a slap for my husband. So today's slap is Jason Gore, favorite qualifier of many fans at this year's USOpen golf tournament. He was doing so well after 54 holes there was some hope that he could win. His last 18 holes, however, were less than spectacular. But his attitude throughout was exceptional - and though he's not what I like physically, he's such a class act that he fully deserves his slap. Not that I have one, but I don't figure there's a lot of demand for seeing Jason shirtless.
Back to our regularly scheduled twink programming tomorrow.
Today's slap is Italian tennis player Daniele Bracciali. He appears to be a fairly new arrival on the top-level pro tour, but he certainly made a splash in my mind taking perennial Bent favorite Andy Roddick to five sets with his blistering forehand. Alas, I have no skin to show - even FotoGordon didn't come through with this guy. But if he can stick around, I'm betting we'll get some nice skin shots.
Today's slap, at John's suggestion, is Roger Federer - shaggy haired Wimbledon champion. I gotta admit that since he got a hair cut he's looking MUCH better. I know John especially appreciates the shaggy look.

Today's slap is supermodel Adam Senn. Appearing in campaigs for companies ranging from Gucci to Valentino, he was actually NOT hired for an Abercrombie ad early in his career. Color me speechless.
Today, however, he seems to be doing just fine. And he's convinced me that I need to go around town wearing some of the stuff in the pictures on the next page. Haha.
What a great bod! I like him much better with short hair - the long hair is a bit much!

Today's slap is the mind-numbingly hot Chris Evans, star of Cellular and the upcoming Fantastic Four. I've posted a pic of Chris here and there, but he hasn't been slapped since something like October - and I decided it was high time. Especially since the trailers for FF are getting so much play - hell, they're reason enough to go to the movies these days.
It amazes me how he can be so fucking hot with nearly any look. He definitely has the inside track for Slap of the Month, as far as I'm concerned.

One more day of golf, saving the best for last, IMHO -- today's slap is Aussie golf beauty Adam Scott. The only complaint I have is that I think he should spend some of his $3,000,000+ career earnings on braces. Other than that, amazing!

I met Andrew Stetson on Halloween two years ago at Copacabana. He was "Canadian Bacon." He was such a nice guy. We danced and talked for awhile but the night ended very quickly. I have oftern wondered where he is. At the time he was modeling and living in New York City. I was not living in New York. However, I currently am. Buster's birthday!
Our dog, Buster, turned 14 a couple of days ago. He's surprisingly spry for 98. And, as you can see from this picture, my partner and I are both insane:
Happy Birthday to Buster!! He is precious! I miss my baby--a Golden named Lucky--she was 14 when she started getting too many ailments to deal with.

Today's slap is actor Patrick Muldoon. I remember seeing him first with Casper van Dien in Starship Troopers. He's been in a few other things, most notably - for me at least - the dreadful The Second Arrival. I will say this: It's nice to see a young(ish) actor willing to keep his chest hair, at least part of the time - I think some of the pictures reflect at least manscaping and some show outright plucking.
Today's slap, at the excellet suggestion of Ricardo, is Brazilian model Caco Ricci. Moderately hairy. Completely beautiful. At this point, I'm just about ready to move to Brazil. I liked him a lot in "The Sum of Us" especially when he says to his potential new boyfriend "Ah really like ya Jeff!" And the lovely shot of his arse in the doorway kindof clinched it for me. And Rob has a heart attack
While my partner and I were at the beach visiting my family, including my niece and nephew, I had my very own And Tango Makes Three moment. No, my partner and I were not trying to hatch a rock, only to be given a real egg by our keepers.
My niece is 3, and still learning some of the less-frequently-seen family members' names. She and I were browsing through the pictures on my laptop - "press that button once" "don't touch the screen" "who's that?" "don't touch the screen". I pointed to the picture on the screen and started the list of questions:
"Who's that?"
"That's my brother."
"Who's that?"
"That's Gi." (grandmother)
"Who's that?"
"That's Uncle Patrick .... Is he your wife?"
...
Gulp.
The question was certainly inevitable, but I had figured that it would come up with her parents - not me. How does one answer such a question for a 3-year old?
"No, you see, some so-called Christians out there hate all gay people and won't let us get married."
No.
"Well, actually, some days I'm the wife. And some days he's the wife. We fight over who gets to be the wife."
No.
"Not exactly. He's not my wife, he's my partner."
Yup - that sounds good. There's not a lot else to say to someone so young. But I did buy her a copy of And Tango Makes Three. Maybe that will explain some of what I just couldn't find the words for when put on the spot.
So now the information that Patrick is my "partner" will be processed over the course of a couple of months by a 3-year old brain. And my sister is waiting with bated breath for the day when my niece asks some male family friend if another is his partner. I can't wait to hear that story.

Mac-tel?
CNet is reporting that Apple will begin using Intel processors in upcoming machines - they plan to announce the switch Monday. The article says that the move is incredibly risky for Apple because architecture switches alienate customers, but I'm not sure I buy that in this case.
Assuming Apple is smart about it, the switch to Intel could be an incredible boost - at least for their hardware business. I for one would love to be able to dual-boot a laptop to OS X or Windows and would probably jump right on the Apple hardware bandwagon as soon as possible. The prospects for their software seem a bit murkier - will there be a lot of Wintel users that want to dual boot to OS X? That seems less likely to me, but perhaps not - I guess if I could dual boot OS X on my Dell, that would be pretty sweet.
But in order to make this work, Apple can't continue to be the closed architecture it has always preferred. It seems they must, at the very least, allow Windows to run on Apple hardware. We'll see, I guess...
hehehe, you've hit a nerve here. Apple has never allowed the MacOS to run on any other computers than their own, and I shudder to think that they will ever allow Windows to run on a mac. The reason a mac is so cool is the integration of OS and computer... putting windoze in the middle of this formula doesn't work.
For many this is a very scary time... Apple normally hates Intel, yet for some reason now they're best friends!? We'll see... Steve Jobs (the Apple CEO) should announce whether the rumours are true at his next keynote in a few weeks. Until then, the world holds its breath...

What concerns me is the direction in which Intel is supposedly moving when it comes to their boards and chips. Aren't they very much in support of the "Big Brother chip" that will pretty much track everything you do? Somewhat like cookies or spyware but on a grander scale. The software we install, the DVDs we play, the music... everything! I read that this is what they are planning on doing in the near future. They pretty much want control over everything we now do on our computers. I don't mean to sound like an over-paranoid conspiracy freak and I know that most of this stems from wanting to stop piracy but I think it is all going way too far.
I know I've been slapping lots of plucked twinks lately - and I'm definitely gonna try to get some more fur in here. So, pursuant to that goal, and because all the coolkids are doing it, today's slap is Paul Telfer. Paul's currently being talked about for playing Hercules in the eponymous mini-series on NBC. He's definitely a hottie!!
They only put him in things that he must strip in. It's great. Their have been rumors that he ia living in canada with his girlfriend, who no one knows anything about.

John and Kip make very good points about the discovery of a gene that makes fruit flies "gay": It's not gonna change the mind of anyone on the right, so let's not get too worked up. It's fairly interesting, but just that.
Some time ago, I really needed to buy a good house for my organization but I didn't earn enough money and could not buy something. Thank goodness my father suggested to try to take the loan at reliable bank. Therefore, I did that and used to be happy with my credit loan.
To satisfy those who ask for more fur, I give you today's slap, Argentinian tennis player David Nalbandian. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a lot of good shirtless shots that I could post - and the ones I did find seem to show a shaved chest, which I know won't be popular. Slap of the Month - Rusty Joiner

Well, it's official - Rusty Joiner is May's Slap of the Month. I didn't expect Rusty to smoke the other contestants so handily, but there you have it. I may have to put an asterisk next to Rusty's win however, since all of the May slaps weren't included in the automated voting - I'll have to try to fix that for next month.
And it appears that Bill's vigorous write-in vote for James Storey earned him an honorable mention - along with Ian Somerhalder.
Yup, it's that time again. And what a great month - I just voted and it was a tough one!!
This month I'm going to use actual voting code to see if I can stir up more votes... Unfortunately, the poll site I used only allows 20 choices so I (somewhat arbitrarily) trimmed the list from 31 to 20 slaps. You can, of course, still vote by comment or e-mail, and those of you who want to vote multiple times (you know who you are!!) will have to post a comment.

rusty joiner? while hot yes, it just isn't attractive to have a fearful/dazed look in your eyes...I feel as if the twinklovers have had their votes divided, while the fur lovers only had one candidate...JURYRIGGING!
Sticking with the tennis theme, and with the slapping-the-winners theme, today's slap is Tommy Robredo, the Spanish sensation hottie that beat poor, poor Marat-y.
